In your Safari Browser enter the website address www.tapeaids.com. Tap on Log In at the top right-hand corner of the Menu Bar. Enter your Last Name and Membership Number and tap on Log In. Search under Titles and click on the book selected to download. Tap on Download mp3 at the bottom of the screen and if the page does not load, tap the Download mp3 for a second time. Wait until you hear the page at 100 percent. The address where the book is saved will be displayed as http://www.storage.googleapis.com. The title of the book will appear on the page as well as the format and size of the book.Playback Using Files App.
Open downloaded book in Files by tapping More and swiping until you hear the Copy to Files option. Tap on Copy to Files and the book will be copied to the default Files App on your device. Tap on the book file to open it. A preview content window will open. Tap on the first track and the book will start playing. Each track will have to be played individually as the Files App does not allow the continuous playing of tracks unless the book is in one file. Playback Using Voice Dream Reader - This app can be purchased and downloaded via the App Store.
On the Download page, after you have downloaded your book, swipe until you hear Open in Voice Dream Reader. This will be the default option and no need to go to the More option. Once the book is in Voice Dream it will open automatically. Tap on the title of the book and tap on Now Playing and your book will start playing continuously. Playback Using Documents By Readall.
In the search field in App Store, type in Documents and swipe until you find an App called Documents by Readall. Open the App once downloaded. Turn off Voice Over by triple tapping the Home button and tapping anywhere on the screen to get rid of the pop up tutorial. Turn Voice Over back on. After downloading a book from Safari, it will ask by default to open in Documents. Tap the Open in Documents button. You will be notified when this is complete and tap ok. Swipe until you hear the Index number and Title of the book. Tap the Grid options button and choose Move. Select iTunes files and wait for approximately 2 minutes for the book to open and load. When the Index number and Title appear, swipe to the right to see how many items there are. Tap on the items, for example L11154, 48 items, Tap on 48 items. The book will open, and all the tracks will be displayed. Tap on the year next to the first track. The book will now play continuously.Downloading Books Directly From The Documents App
Tap on Tab - this is the last tab in the App. You will hear Browser Bookmarks. Swipe to the right and type tapeaids.com in the text field. Follow the same downloading procedure as in safari. When you tap Download mp3 it will ask you where to save the file. Tap the button Documents Downloads and change this to iTunes files. Turn the On button next to the option Off in order for files to be saved there by default once downloaded. Press the Download tab to view the download progress. When the Index number and Title appear, swipe to the right to see how many items there are. Tap on the items, for example L11154, 48 items. Tap on 48 items. The book will open, and all the tracks will be displayed. Tap on the year next to the first track. The book will now play continuously.
